Meet the CEO Jason K.S. Porter
Jason graduated cum laude from the Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in both political science and Spanish. Before graduation, he was inducted into the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa fraternity for academic achievement and the nationally recognized Omicron Delta Kappa fraternity for leadership.
He earned his law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
After law school, Attorney Porter moved to Jacksonville, where he accepted a position as Assistant State Attorney, prosecuting cases in Duval, Clay, and Nassau counties. As a prosecuting trial lawyer, he handled a wide range of cases, from misdemeanor DUI cases to the felony crime of murder.
In his current private practice, Attorney Porter's experience of over 20 years, along with helping hundreds of clients; Jason has developed a passion for advertising and business growth. As his practice grew, he saw other businesses struggling to navigate the ever-changing media landscape and in partnership with, Amanda, his in-house Media Director, Pick Porter Media was born.
Meet the VP & Executive Director Amanda Johnson
Amanda grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico and spent a few years in Augusta, Georgia before finding her way to Jacksonville, where she has been executing brand strategies for 10 years. She completed her undergraduate studies in Communications & Journalism in 2008 and earned her MBA in 2013.
With experience as an Account Manager, and time in both Radio and TV sales; Amanda is a seasoned media expert with the creativity and executional excellence expected by CEO's and CMO's alike. Amanda is also Google Certified. She enjoys script writing, directing, and post production editing; and has been known to help with an on-air appearance or voiceover when needed.
Amanda worked as an outside consultant for Attorney Jason Porter for two years before joining his team full-time and founding in-house agency, Jason Porter Media in 2019.
In 2023, Amanda & Jason decided to expand their marketing team and invite new clients to join Pick Porter Media.
Outside of work, you are likely to find Amanda crafting, creating, in her garden or trekking through Disney with her husband and son.
